License Agreement updates apply only to newer software versions released after the update. Older versions remain governed by the License Agreement that was in effect at the time they were released. This ensures your existing installations stay under their original terms, while updates or upgrades may require accepting the new terms.

Gaea 2.0 Open Source Licenses

The latest copy of the open source licenses and library listing can be found within the Gaea installation under the file Third Party Licenses.txt.
Non-Refundable Digital Goods. All digital goods are sold "as-is" and are non-refundable, including instances where products do not meet personal expectations.
EU cooling off period. By purchasing, you agree to waive your right to refunds, including under the EU "cooling off" period (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)), which exempts digital goods from refund once the download has begun.
Payment Processing and Delivery. Payment issues or delays may impact product delivery. We reserve up to 72 hours to resolve such issues.
Pre-Purchase Evaluation. Free versions of our products are available for evaluation prior to purchase. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the product meets their requirements before purchasing.
Usage and Compatibility. We do not guarantee compatibility with your specific system or third-party tools. Refunds are not provided for compatibility-related issues.
Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to your purchase is limited to the amount you paid.
Legal Jurisdiction. Refund policies comply with applicable consumer protection laws in major markets. By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Changes to Terms. We may update these Terms at any time. We will post changes on this page and may notify users via email if appropriate. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the changes.
We do not track visitors on the Site. For basic analytics to improve our products and services, we use the privacy-friendly Fathom Analytics.
We do not collect or store your payment information. Our payment processor, Stripe, may store that data in accordance with their policies.
We store the name, email address, IP address, and any information voluntarily provided provided during purchase for license management purposes.
We use HelpScout for handling user communication and technical support. The impact on your privacy is outlined in their product privacy documentation.
If you share technical details, such as diagnostic logs or related information for technical support, we will use that information solely to analyze and fix bugs in the software. Once the issue is identified and fixed, your data will be deleted. If the issue is not resolved within 120 days, we will delete your data.
Any personally identifiable information is stored under strong encryption as required by law in an SOC2 compliant data server.
We may collect hardware and software usage statistics from you through the software itself, but only with your explicit permission. This information is stored in plain text, which you can view and redact if you wish. We use such information only to improve the software, collecting only anonymized data not linked to your identity.
Our servers will receive license information and the calling IP address during license activation and refreshing as required by your license. This information is logged for security and piracy-prevention. We do not collect or store passwords or payment information. Only your license key is logged after activation.
If your software purchase is refunded, we may store your order information for billing, taxation, and internal record-keeping purposes. License data is retained for as long as your license is active and as required for compliance with applicable laws.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@quadspinner.com. Please note that, upon complete deletion of your data, we cannot guarantee that your license will activate successfully.
We will never sell, trade, or rent to any third-party any Personal Data or Anonymous Data that may contain Personal Data.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your jurisdiction, including the United States.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may disclose your personal information in response to legal demands by law enforcement authorities or when required by law.
If, in our sole discretion, we determine that you have breached any of the Terms presented on this page or the End-User License Agreement provided with the software, or are conducting unlawful or fraudulent activities related to QuadSpinner or our software, we may disclose your personal information to the necessary law enforcement authorities.
