Statement on Generative AI

AI is permeating the entire world at a extremely fast pace. A large part of it are just gimmicks, but there are other things like generative AI that are an imposing presence in our industry.

We believe that human creativity is the only critical force that can propel the industry - and the world - forward. AI can be a wonderful toolset, but it cannot replace human creativity - it just creates endless cycle of regurgitation. Even as we write this NASA fixed the decades old Voyager-1 spacecraft from nearly 25 billion kilometers (or one whole light-day!) away.

This is human ingenuity at its best!

In its current state and trajectory, generative AI is not ethical or environmentally sustainable. We choose not to have any generative AI related features or offerings in our software.

We are proud of our pure mathematically-generated procedural shapes and algorithms. And we aim to keep researching deeper in them and improve them constantly.

Gaea does not and will not:

• use generative AI to create its output.
• use any information of yours for AI use. (Or even other purposes)
• try to "learn" from your creativity and try to supplant or mimick your artistic style.
• treat YOU like a product.

We make a simple software. You pay us once for that software. That's all.
